REMINDER
Parade of Lights August 8th, 2021
Do you love to have a bit of fun, to decorate, maybe to put on a costume, maybe even blast a few tunes, or even win some great prizes?? Well then, we think the Parade of Lights might be right up your alley! Power and Sail are all welcome to get ready for the festivities on Sunday, August 8th. If you know someone who is not a member of LYC but they have a boat…spread the word as they are welcome to join in the fun as well.
Participating boats are asked to make their way to Mussel Bed by 7:30 pm to line up and be ready to leave there at 8:00 pm.
The event goes ahead rain or shine, so if the boats can’t leave the dock due to weather, the decorations will be judged in your berths. There will be three winners of cash prizes – sponsored by the Town of Lewisporte. And who can’t use a little extra cash these days??
PRIZES….1ST PLACE – $500.00 2ND PLACE – $300.00 3RD PLACE – $100.00
We sure hope to see a great crowd again to help entertain the hundreds and hundreds of people who line the shore every year!
