The days are finally getting longer and we’re beginning to dream about those warm summer days spent in the various coves and moorings around Notre Dame Bay. The marina will soon be bustling with activity as we prepare for launch day and enjoy the camaraderie of previous boating seasons. (With any luck, the winter season was not too harsh on our boats!)
On behalf of the executive committee, I would like to welcome visiting and local boaters to the Lewisporte Yacht Club. We have worked diligently with the Lewisporte Marina Administrative Authority to ensure that we have not only the biggest, but as I am sure you will agree, the best facility in Atlantic Canada.
We are fortunate to be located on the doorstep of the best cruising area in eastern North America, as can be attested by our many visiting boaters. Take some time this summer to explore Notre Dame Bay, you won’t be disappointed! If you’re lacking confidence in venturing afield, stay tuned for word on our annual flotilla and please feel free to join in.
